I did this a couple of days ago and it worked nicely on my Windows 11 PC.
Some free HEIC to PDF converter software may claim to handle HEIC files but actually don't. Make sure you use well-reviewed tools like the Microsoft Photos app or PowerSheII. You don't wanna waste time on a tool that fails halfway through. Here is how to the Microsoft Photos App:
- Open the HEIC file with the Microsoft Photos app (it should support HEIC natively).
- Click on the three dots (…) in the top right and select 'Print'.
- Choose 'Microsoft Print to PDF' as your printer, adjust your settings, and hit print. This will save it as a PDF.
For those who use Windows, ensure your system and any software tools are up to date. Older versions might not support newer file types adequately.
