Windows update and Windows store both offer options to turn off automatic updates if someone wants it that way.
it's people's device after all, there are people having limited Internet bandwidth and cap, or just any other reason they might have.
but insider builds are different, apps and Windows are updated a lot more often.
edit: also, it's not always a good idea to install the latest update on a production Windows.
Yes, Microsoft says it's good to do that, but they don't always provide bug-free updates.
there are countless news about new updates breaking functionality, breaking printers, causing bugs, BSOD etc.
the quality and reliability of the updates for Windows 10 need to improve a lot so we no longer see news articles about a new update breaking Windows 10, when it's supposed to make Windows 10 better instead.
Windows team need to test each update and cumulative update on real hardware, Not virtual machine, and on a wide variety of hardware combinations and peripherals.
it's an OS used by over 1 billion people in the world, the tests should be as thorough and rigorous as it can get.

mnie wystarczy jedna sprawdzona kompilacja Windows w Roku 2021 - zapowiedziana , przetestowana - ponieważ ludzie boją się pobrać aktualizację
a tak nie powinno być !
Powinny być rozbudowana informacja i jeden prosty sposób odinstalowania
aktualizacji która się nie powidła , a jest to nadal skomplikowane !

bo chcą mieć komputer który zawsze działa bo zapłacili za dobre urządzenie !
Wielu użytkowników czeka na opinie o danej kompilacji Windows i Świadomie
instaluje .
Pozostali przyjmują domyślne aktualizacje i nigdy nie mają pewności
że będzie OK !
Ważna jest też możliwość przywrócenia sytemu w sposób bezproblemowy -
ja zawsze w takich sytuacjach jestem nie pewny jaki będzie efekt.
Chcę żeby Windows był nowoczesny , ale bez ryzyka dla moich komputerów
za które zapłaciłem pieniądze !

Każde niepowodzenie aktualizacji Windows powoduje nie odwracalne pogorszenie wizerunku produktów Microsoft
Powodzenie Windows 7 dla przedsiębiorstw polegało na zdecydowanie większej
stabilności i przyzwyczajenia użytkowników powinny też się liczyć - Ludzie nie chcą się ciągle uczyć nowych funkcji które często użytkuje 5% użytkowników!
Pozostali pracują według swoich przyzwyczajeń i to powinno też być
analizowane .
Ja potrzebuję bardziej stabilności i niezawodności - niż nowych funkcji których nie używam !
Warto tu być i rozmawiać !

they do it because 1) free speech and 2) Microsoft keeps giving them reasons and proof to do so.
