Hi Mike, it means that Notepad don't need to wait for major OS updates to get new updates.Inbox-apps is the term used to describe those official apps from Microsoft that are included with the installation of Windows 10, so Windows Terminal and Power Automate Desktop will join other apps like Photos, Mail & Calendar, etc.

There's a note in today's blog that Notepad & Windows Terminal is an inbox app? They are updated via the Microsoft Store. What does this mean?

    Dodam jeszcze że wielu uzytkowników nie odwiedza Sklepu Microsoft i nie sprawdza aktualizacji !
    Często sami wyłączają automatyczne aktualizację ze Sklepu Microsoft - prowadzi to do błędu !
