I am experiencing the boot loop issue on my Surface 2 as well. It shows the Surface Logo and boot loops within a few seconds, so I would guess it has something to do with the boot record itself. If I boot from a Windows Install USB stick and select Troubleshoot and then "continue" it will boot Windows 10 17093 without a problem. I reverted back to 17083 and the problem was gone, overnight Windows updated back to 17093 and the problem is back.
I'm the same problem with my surface 2 pro.
Any suggestion to resolve?
- Aa yes i don't know why i didn't think of that. I just had to make sure i boot to the installation in uefi mode else the continue option isn't there. They'll probably fix this in the next build now I'll just have to hibernate instead of turning the pc off
Hi,
Our engineering team has suggested that you disable Fast Start if your PC supports it. They felt this may help until the issue is resolved in a future build.
