After updating, I cannot log in and all my desktop files are gone. How can I restore them?
After recently updating the system, a message appeared at startup saying that Windows was being prepared, and I was forced to log out and log back in to restore my files, but multiple attempts and restarts did not work. I have uninstalled the update patch, but the problem still persists. I need help restoring my lost desktop files!

Create a new user account:
- Settings > Accounts > Family & other users > Add someone else to this PC.
- Log into the new account and see if your files are accessible there.
