A Vision for Windows 12: Familiar Power Meets Modern Innovation
Wanted to add and refine to this-I am not a pro-just thoughts; I have prior versions of Microsoft Windows set up as virtual environments. How feasible would it be to create downloadable versions—perhaps under Windows 12—that allow users to run older Microsoft OSs like Windows XP, 7, or even 8 as virtual machines? These could be tied to the latest OS in the background for privacy and security support. It might be possible to offer these as theme options, similar to how we had theme customization in Windows XP many years ago. Another idea could be releasing Windows 12/13 with minimal or no advertisements, while offering some free features for Office 365 but charging for this version of the OS. To access any free additions, users could be required to have a Microsoft account. This could be a major marketing strategy, addressing current frustrations and potentially leading to significant gains.
