How can I email or call support for a direct (onmicrosoft.com) subscription?
- Apr 15, 2020
We wanted to thank everyone again for their feedback around Reading Lists. We have internally acknowledged that Reading List as a feature was not able to meet the needs of our users. While we do have some very passionate users of this feature, the truth is that it wasnβt used much in Legacy Edge. With these things in mind, we have decided to not implement this feature into chromium-based Edge.
For alternatives, we still believe that the ones mentioned in the original post are what will work best for users. Collections have had several new features implemented recently, and we encourage you to give them a try. If youβre curious as to where your Reading Lists went when you updated to new Edge, they should be located in your Favorites under the Other favorites folder listed as Reading List.
While we are not going to bring this feature to new Edge, we are always listening and making choices based on all your feedback. Please continue to send in the feedback about what you would love to see or what you think is missing!
Thanks,
The Microsoft Edge Team
Hi tightrope,
Here you can find the Global Customer Service phone numbers:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/topic/global-customer-service-phone-numbers-c0389ade-5640-e588-8b0e-28de8afeb3f2
Possible Microsoft support will ask you to add a TXT-record to your public DNS zone so they can verify your ownership of the tenant.
I would also advise these best practices:
- Always configure a break-glass account
(https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/roles/security-emergency-access)
- Always add an alternate emailadress for recovery purposes

What would be nice would be an email app that actually works! My god, outlook has been around for years and still does not work. Lets face it you rent 365 just as a way to punish yourself. 365 = Self Loathing. Flush it and go elsewhere.
- tightropeAug 08, 2023Copper ContributorThanks for reminding me about Microsoft's Global Customer Service phone numbers! Hopefully someone is able to help me when they get back to me in 10 minutes, 30 minutes or 24 hours (paraphrasing the initial phone rep)β¦ The phone rep also advised that I should contact support via the admin dashboard in the future. π€¦β:male_sign: Incidentally, @MicrosoftHelps on π provided the same Global Customer Service phone numbers link after I battled their π DM bot and got through to a couple of humans. π
P.S. It's a long story about how the Authenticator key was lost. π
