Hello, if have buy license server+ CAL with SA, you just renewal SA at the end of contract. In contracts (like OPEN VALUE, EA, SELECT,...) only the edition is visible, never the version. So, if you have an active SA for Exchange, you can upgrade to SE. Actually, all Exchange 2019 can migrate to SE RTM for free (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/exchange/plan-and-deploy/deploy-new-installations/upgrade-to-exchange-server-se#exchange-server-se-product-key-requirements). The server key SE edition will be mandatory with CU1.
