Windows 10 Update

I had tried those exact steps several times to no avail. I have finally succeeded by downloading the update directly from the Microsoft website, it's up and going now. Thank you for your reply and your advice.

Open settings > update and security > troubleshooter> additional > run the update troubleshooter!
of course check if the system has been activated properly!
