Unable to send a Remote Desktop Connection request to Windows XP

I am attempting to establish a Remote Desktop connection from a Windows 11 machine to a Windows XP machine, but I keep getting a 'connection failed' error. Additionally, none of the Remote Desktop applications installed on my desktop are functioning properly. I would appreciate any assistance

    Hi, Windows XP uses older RDP security, so a modern Windows 11 client may fail if Network Level Authentication or newer security expectations are enforced. Check that Remote Desktop is enabled on XP, the firewall allows it, and the XP system allows older RDP connections. Also, please keep that XP machine isolated or behind a VPN, because exposing XP over RDP is a serious security risk.
