Windows Multipoint Server connected to a Network Switch

Hello!

I have this project for my undergraduate degree and our client (which is a school) uses Windows Multipoint Server 2012. I have been learning about Multipoint Server and how to use it lately since it is very new to me. What I don't know if it is possible to connect the Multipoint Server to a network switch which gives services to the PCs in the access layer?

Our client mentioned that the server has 4 main connections (or PCs, I guess?), 1 connection having 3 user accounts. So, I was wondering if it is possible to connect them to a network switch which has more than 10 PCs connected.

EDIT: This is for a computer laboratory with at least 20 PCs. One of them will be used for the Windows Multipoint Server 2012. Services would be file server and AD.

The network switch that I'll be using is a 48-port managed switch. The connection will be LAN.
