How will Credential Guard and Device Guard help Windows 10 users in terms of security.

Super high-level, DG is about strongly controlling what is allowed to run on client devices with Code Integrity, and optional virtualization based protection of the Windows processes that do this via hypervisor protected code integrity. Think of Code Integrity as the modern version of AppLocker, though both can be used in harmony for added protection.
