Hi There

I am about to give my laptop to my sone and i want to remove my gmail account from that laptop ONLY.

I have gone to ggogle acc/privacy & security/remove gmail account, but it sounded like I may not be able to use the same gmail account on my new pc.

Advice welcome

    Hi null null,

If you want to remove your Gmail account from your laptop without affecting your ability to use it on another device, follow these steps:

    1. Sign Out of Gmail: Open your web browser and go to the Gmail website (www.gmail.com). If you're already signed in, click your profile picture in the upper-right corner and select "Sign out" to log out of your Gmail account on that laptop.

    2. Optional: Clear Browsing Data: If you want to ensure there's no trace of your Gmail account left on the laptop, you can clear your browsing data.

    3. Disconnect Gmail Account in Email Client (if used): If you used a desktop email client like Microsoft Outlook or Thunderbird to access your Gmail, remove the Gmail account from that client. This ensures the client won't check or display your Gmail messages.
