Perform a one time full scan Microsoft defender antivirus scan via the security baseline in endpoint

We have a lot of users complaining that Microsoft defender antivirus scan uses a lot of CPU during the full scan. We have the full scan scheduled to run once a week from our security baseline in endpoint manager. 

However, when I read the article below, Microsoft does not recommend running a full scan that often. However, via the security baseline in endpoint manager there is no other options than to run it weekly.
