Updates on GPO Windows 10 taskbar
Hi, in a not persistent VDI (with fslogix) we are pushing a GPO linking the XML for a custom taskbar configuration (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/configuration/configure-windows-10-taskb...
I can tell you, managing Taskbar pins will stay a pain. I gave up in trying to find a way.
Set the icons, which should be there forever (like Explorer, Outlook,..) and let the users decide themselves for the others.
Removing from the XML means, if the user did not pin it by himself, it will disappear.
Creating an icon via GPO in "%AppData%\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\User Pinned\TaskBar" will also not work.
