British Columbia permanent DST impact
BC in Canada is going to be staying on DST permanently from Nov 2026. Is there any information about how Microsoft will handle this in Windows? For example, will there be a new Timezone and, if so, when can we expect that to be rolled out? Thanks.

Microsoft has a blog for Time Zone information that I pay attention to. No updates since April and no mention of their plan to handle BC Time Zone at present.

I'm wondering this as well. I work for an organization that has locations in BC, CA, and IL. We have standing meetings across these time zones, and it would be ideal if the time automatically updated based on BC time, which is the primary site. (Note: not sure if I'm allowed to name competing products here, but the primary colored search engine has already updated their products)

Same question from a large enterprise organization. We're looking to find out if Microsoft will release an update with a time zone specific to BC, or if the Arizona time zone (which also does permanent DST) will be the new selection required in the place of Pacific.

I have the same question. If a new time zone is being added on Windows there are some changes that need to done in my company's products.
