Windows 10 Multi-Session
Justin_Jones Windows 10 Multi-session can't be used On-prem regardless of VDA licensing (see below). You can have that one VM be accessed by the 5 thin clients just not at the same time, it would only be 1 session per Win 10 VM. You would either need 5 Win 10 VMs or a RDSH host. Depending on what was invested on the Hyper-V host I would investigate just using Windows Virtual Desktop in Azure (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/learn/modules/m365-wvd-intro/). You can get a pretty small VM hosted in Azure to allow just 5 sessions depending on the work load and you can do Remote App delivery as well with no extra licensing cost you just pay for the Azure hosting costs.
"Windows 10 Enterprise multi-session can't run in on-premises production environments because it's optimized for the Windows Virtual Desktop service for Azure. " (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/virtual-desktop/windows-10-multisession-faq)
