I think 32Gb and 8 cores should run this fine, perhaps 24Gb. This way you will have some room for the OS for the CPU and RAM. Are you running this on physical or virtual hardware? You can start with 20Gb and 6 cores for example on virtual hardware and scale-up when needed if you have enough performance data to decide to scale-up or not.
On physical hardware I would buy a 8 core machine with 24Gb of RAM with the possibility to upgrade, so look at the memory options there (Slots and dual/triple memory configurations).
Harddisk should be SSD of course, 256Gb or 512Gb I guess? Not sure how much data you think you're going to use...
