Viva Sales with Outlook Integration

Hi - have a few questions: 

 

Should Viva Sales prompt end users to login to Outlook even if Viva Sales is not being used in Outlook?

 

(Following up on 1st question) - How can Viva Sales be configured to not prompt this?

 

If this is a new requirement, how can this be bypassed for those who don't have access to connect to a D365 CE environment?

    The only place in Viva Sales where we allow users to log in to their CRM is Outlook today, so the answer to your question is "Yes". However, we are actively working on a feature to allow users to log in to their CRM from Teams, which will ship later this summer.

      RezaAssadi thanks for your response. But I'm afraid that doesn't answer the question I was trying to ask.  

       

      Rewording my question: Can Viva Sales be used as a standalone App within Teams?


      Ideal state is to use Viva Sales in Teams without ever having to think about Outlook or CRM.
