Viva Sales Teams meeting summary not working
So an update to my issue.
I started another Teams call this evening and added Viva Sales to the chat before I finished the recording and voila, the meeting insights were all there 😀
So I wonder:
- Can I go back and add Viva Sales to previous meetings that have been recorded to get the insights?
- Is there a way to automatically add Viva Sales to all future meetings?
Thanks all,
Steve

Hi stevefrench ,
Thank you for the feedback.
As described above, for your Teams meetings, you need to make sure that the Viva Sales app is added, and that the meeting is transcribed, in order to gain meeting insights. It's great to see that you can get meeting summaries now.
In response to your two questions:
- As of now, previous meetings cannot be 'back filled' with insights from current meetings.
- Viva Sales is being added automatically to all of your meetings with customers (assuming scheduled from Outlook as described here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/use-viva-sales-in-teams-04286b82-bdf8-4e37-94ce-be1943b2d6ea#bkmk_createteamsmeeting). For other meetings, currently you can just add the app manually prior/during the meeting.
We would appreciate any additional feedback you may have.

I wanted to check with you do you have some idea how can we get contentUrl and websiteUrl for store distributed app such as Viva sales or Viva Insights, so that using graph api one can automate the process of adding such apps as tabs to teams meetings( meetings created directly from teams). Or some other document reference that can guide me how can i automate this process for Viva Sales.- Rafi_RaboNov 20, 2022

Hi poojashivach,
Thanks for reaching out.
You can install the tab manually on a meeting, and then follow the next steps:
- Enter the tab using Teams web client
- Open developer tools
- Get the iframe src for the tab window
Use "https://msteamstabintegration.dynamics.com/Home/Bootstrapper#pageType=viva-meeting-control" for viva sales for both webUrl and contentUrl.
Hope it helps.

Per the documentation:
Viva Sales app is added automatically to the meeting created using Outlook for Windows
It would be great if Viva Sales would automatically add to the calendar entry, regardless of where I add it. I add calendar entries in Outlook Web, Outlook for Windows, Outlook for Mac, Outlook for iPhone and iPad and Teams.
I've also had a couple of meeting that have had Viva Sales added but the transcription has failed so it would be great if we could retroactively apply it to a meeting too.
Thanks again,

Hi Steve,
Getting the app added to your Teams meetings with customers is now supported in case that the meeting is scheduled from the following Outlook platforms: Outlook for Windows, Outlook Web App, and Outlook for Mac. Mobile and Teams calendar are still not supported.
We will make sure that the documentation is updated accordingly.
Retroactive analysis is something we plan to support, but we don't have yet a fixed timeline.
