Linkedin Learning Enterprise Subscription & Viva Learning Integration
Hi Vida_Hsiao , LinkedIn Learning content plays in Viva Learning via an embedded iFrame player, while the content still resides on LinkedIn Learning from a hosting perspective. To answer your question directly - yes LinkedIn Learning courses consumed in Viva Learning will show completion and progress in LinkedIn Learning - same as if the course was consumed from the LinkedIn Learning platform directly.
- Vida_HsiaoOct 11, 2023Copper ContributorThank you but does the completion and progress show in Viva Learning? Or I have to go back to view in Linkedin Learning?

Following the reply I made yesterday I have now worked out how it works. If you have a subscription that hassn't been purchased through Microsoft, you can still do the courses.
When you select a Linkedin module or course there is an option to open it in LinkedIn. You watch the course there after logging in and then come back to push the completed button in LinkedIn Learning.
So in the screenshot you can see a course that staff cannot access without a sub. I have a sub, but it wasn't bought through Microsoft (but it is a staff email with the correct domain). If I try to logon through Viva Learning, it will refuse.
If I click on Open in LinkedIn Learning, I get taken to LinkedIn (have to sign in there if I am not already), then do the course. It shows in my LinkedIn record (great!) and I then need to come back and click on Mark as completed.
The same is true with Microsoft Learn courses (but it just has a web open):
I guess the same will also work for courses that have a free element (e.g. EdEx, Udemy etc.).
I'm a lot happier now and can make sure my staff understand how it works.
Hope that helps!
Ngā mihi,
Eliot
