Viva Glint: score and rating questions
- A score is calculated by the system only when the questions is a rating-type questions? What when the question is open-ended or multiple choices?
- In the official documentation, the favorability score is intended as calculated for a 5-point scale. If I convert all the rating questions in my survey from a 5-points scale to a 10-points scale, this score is adjusted automatically? How?
- What does mean the alert message below and which are the implications? It occurs when I create a rating question with a scale different from 5.

There is not a scoring calculation for open-ended questions. They are included in the comment report and included in comment sentiment analysis and other analyses. Multiple choice question calculations are shown for individual items on the dashboard and multiple choice report. - In the official documentation, the favorability score is intended as calculated for a 5-point scale. If I convert all the rating questions in my survey from a 5-points scale to a 10-points scale, this score is adjusted automatically? How? The score is adjusted automatically. Conversions are adjusted accordingly to maintain the 100 point average. For example, on a 5-point scale, a response of 1 equates to a score of 0, a response of 2 equates to a score of 25, a response of 3 equates to a score of 50, a response of 4 equates to a score of 75, and a response of 5 equates to a score of 1002. On a 10 point scale, a response of 1 equates to a score of 0, a response of 2 equates to a score of 20, a response of 3 equates to a score of 30, a response of 4 equates to a score of 40, and a response of 5 equates to a score of 50, and so on.
- What does mean the alert message below and which are the implications? It occurs when I create a rating question with a scale different from 5. It means that if you have different rating scales for each question, reporting will include inconsistencies. For example, for a rating scale of 5, a 4 = 75 but with a rating scale of 10, 4=40

This is very helpful - can someone please provide some more information on how the -1 (non responses) are calculated?
