List of questions

Hi Community. 

 

I have a list of questions I hope someone can help me answer: 

  • Can you delete internal benchmarks for just one role? (Managers) 
  • Report attributes – what is recommended that different roles see?     
  • When you do a new data upload, how does it affect the results from previous surveys?
  • When you get to the second round of team conversations – do you build on the previous one or start from scratch? 
  • What happens when you use a 10 points scale? Does it still convert into a 0-100 scale?
  • Can you add a manager email before they survey is closed? If they have live-access how do we let them know?

    These are great questions! I have provided my responses in red below, but please let me know if you need us to clarify anything or if you have additional questions. 

     

    • Can you delete internal benchmarks for just one role? (Managers) 
      • Any selected benchmarks (General Settings) will be available for all users, and we cannot currently hide them from specific user roles.
    • Report attributes – what is recommended that different roles see?     
      • This is truly up to the customer, however for the manager user role, it is common to only grant them access to the "Manager Hierarchy".  Your executive type roles may have access to a much larger set of attributes.
    • When you do a new data upload, how does it affect the results from previous surveys?
      • Viva Glint surveys are "point in time" in terms of data.  This means that data will be locked in at the time the survey launches.  Any ensuing/future data loads will not impact the data/attributes of previous surveys.
    • When you get to the second round of team conversations – do you build on the previous one or start from scratch? 
      • The presentation that is part of Team Conversations will be a new based on the new survey results, however if the user takes action via Viva Glint's focus areas, then those will carry over.
    • What happens when you use a 10 points scale? Does it still convert into a 0-100 scale?
      • Yes, similar to the 5pt scale, you will see the scores in aggregate based on a 100pt conversion.
    • Can you add a manager email before they survey is closed? If they have live-access how do we let them know? 
      • If you are wanting to update a manager's email address as part of the manager hierarchy, the hierarchy and additional attributes will be locked as of the launch of the survey. 
        • In order to update any attributes (including hierarchies) the customer would need to complete a retroactive update.  I would try to limit utilizing retroactive updates to clean-up data, however they can be beneficial in some cases. I have shared the steps for completing retroactive updates below.
