How to Ensure Email Digests are Properly Rendered in Outlook
I was blowing the dust off of my organization's 'All Company' community and, as expected, a handful of staff were emailed about my post . However, the email only included links to the post, instead of fully rendering the post so people could see the content, react and reply.
Is there a way to ensure that all emails sent from a community fully render in Outlook? It's a great feature, but it doesn't seem reliable.

atrain204 Firstly, simplify post formatting. If you're using rich text, images, or complex tables, try sticking to plain text. Simplicity tends to work best for email rendering.
Next, check your digest settings in Community admin > email digests. Ensure that "Include post snapshot" is enabled. This action should effectively pull a post excerpt into the email body.
For a comprehensive check, try alternative clients such as Gmail or other webmail services. This step will help determine whether the issue is specific to Outlook. Webmail platforms often render content more reliably.
In cases where critical information is at play, consider opting to convert to an announcement post. Reposting as an "Announcement" ensures that real-time emails will consistently include the full post body.
For a more tailored approach, explore the option to customize with Power Automate. Building a flow can generate community digest emails with full post content, formatted using HTML for a polished appearance.
While the built-in digests aim to assist, it's worth noting that formatting and content may exhibit inconsistencies across various email clients. A practical approach involves testing across webmail vs. Outlook preview, which can aid in diagnosis. Exploring alternatives like announcements, simplified formatting, or custom flows may prove more effective in ensuring that crucial community content is easily readable within these emails.
