Can I enable Viva Connection Notifications on Teams Dekstop as well?
I am currently building a SPO Intranet which I connected Viva Connections with.
So whenever I create a News Site, I receive a Push Notification on Teams Mobile. This looks as follows:
So far so good.
So my question is, if I can enable those Notifications on Teams Desktop as well or is this currently exclusive to Teams Mobile? So far I couldn't find an option to solve my question.
Yeah sorry I was wrong, I got it mixing up with Viva Engage Announcement notification...
Yeah desktop doesn't have any kind of notification for SharePoint news post, but you can see your unread ones in the feed and latest one should be on left

Hi, I have another question regarding the push notifications.
We have a multilingual SPO site (Dutch and English) and via Viva Connections, users get 2 push notifications when a news item is published, 1 for Dutch and 1 for English. How can we change this that only 1 language is being pushed, following the Teams app language setup? TutuNg- alexanderbackx, same odd behavior experienced here today. Did you found a solution for this issue or raised a support ticket?

No, haven't found any solution but I need to re-test this to make sure this is still a problem.
Have you recently experienced the same issue or is it resolved?

- Yeah That's built-in into the Viva Connections/Viva Home and should be working out of the box on desktop too 🙂
- I wish it would work but on my Feed in Teams Desktop App the News Notification doesn't appear.
