ToDo adding Note symbol to all tasks in ToDo Android
For several days it seems all my new entries in the Android app (but not on the web in Chrome) now display a "Note" / attachment symbol attached to them, and I can't seem to stop this or get rid of the symbol. As a result all my tasks now take up more an extra line in the app on my phone.
Anyone else have this, or know a solution?

For me, the latest (non-Insider) update in the Play Store resolved this issue.
It however does retain the note symbol on all tasks which were added during the periode where this bug existed. For new tasks, the note symbol no longer appears if no note entered.If you want to get rid of the note symbol on an existing task, you can open the (empty) note and save your task as usual. The symbol will be gone.
The notes area is kind of hidden because it is empty. In the attached screenshot, I marked the area which you can tap to open the empty note.
It appears that this issue has been fixed, at least on the Beta version 2.29.7797.insiders.

- I've faced the same issue and unfortunately I have no solutions to suggest.
Ditto. Running on Android, Galaxy 7. This started happening about a month ago, and it's driving me crazy. Any way we can submit a bug ticket or something so Microsoft is aware and working on this issue? I hate that these take up more space in each task, and that I now can't tell where I've actually written notes.
Tried uninstalling and reinstalling; didn't fix the problem, so it seems Microsoft will need to release an update.

- Got that same thing with my OnePlus 5T running Android 10.. Really really anoying. Hopefully it'll get resolved as soon as possible.
- Same problem here since updating to Android 11. Highly annoying!! Can't find which tasks actually contain notes, and it takes up space.
- I'm having this issue as well, on a pixel 3 running Android 11.
