Update required to 10.15 but only have Mojave

I went to open Microsoft TO DO and it says I must update.  But when I go to APP Store, the required download requires 10.15.  I am not ready to leave Mojave, so now I can't use Microsoft TO DO. I am disappointed.  Is there a work around?
