Unable to switch old account to new in To Do on Mac

despite trying several troubleshooting steps, here are some additional suggestions that might help:
Sign Out of All Microsoft Accounts:
Ensure you're signed out of all Microsoft accounts on your Mac, not just in Microsoft To Do. This includes other Office apps like Word, Excel, and Outlook.Clear Cache and Cookies:
Clearing cache and cookies could potentially resolve issues related to account switching.Use the License Removal Tool:
Microsoft offers a license removal tool to deactivate the original account. Afterward, sign in with the new account to activate it.
