Trying to Export Tasks to Excel - Task doesn't change Status to "completed"
Hello everyone, I've been banging my head over this for 2 days... and I feel very... bad.
I'm trying to export all my completed tasks to an excel file automatically using Power Automate and when I check a task, it gets triggered, but for some reason it doesn't change the Status to "completed", remains "notStarted". I tried multiple ways to get it correctly but I can't.
Now... why not accept the export as it is and just assume they are all completed? Because the trigger in Power Automate is "When a to-do in a specific folder is updated" so if I edit a task... then... it will be exported.
I checked the API's and the status doesn't change... even though in the system it clearly says... "Completed by... "
The tasks are recurring ones... not sure if that's the issue.
One other thing I noticed is that if I check the task... uncheck it and check it again... then it changes the status... but that's just a bad experience...
Please tell me there's a solution to this... cause... I've tried Zapier and it works there (they even have a "When a task is completed" trigger)... but not on the Microsoft Power Automate platform... it's just ridiculous. I don't want to pay for other 3rd party services since I'm already paying for Power Automate.
