TODO for tasks from planner for guests

I work for company A and have a joint project with members of company B.
I´m guest in a  planner board in of company B. They told me that tasks from this planner board can only appear in the TODO app of the people who belong to the organization in which the planner plan was created, i.e. company B and not in my TODO. Is this still true or is there a change?
