ToDo dates showing as mm/dd/yyyy in Classic Outlook

In Classic Outlook, my ToDo tasks are displaying in mm/dd/yyyy format instead of the expected dd/mm/yyyy format.

All windows regional settings are correct, 365 profile regional settings are correct.  Please can anyone advise how to get this to switch to the correct date format?

If I switch to New Outlook (not feasible right now due to other issues) then the dates are correct, they are also correct in OWA and the online ToDo app
