To Do date glitch

My To Do list is changing dates without me! It only happens for things due “tomorrow” and usually late in the day. It will suddenly shift the due date to “today”. Why? Is this a time zone default thing or something else I can control? It very frustrating to get to 6pm and sudden half or all of tomorrow’s tasks are shifted to today, so it looks like we’re overdue or behind on work. Help!
