This functionality is still missing unfortunately, but the official response from Microsoft in the feedback portal is that they're reviewing it. It's a huge thread of others looking for this feature, so add your voice to it.
In the meantime, you might be able to make a solution using Power Automate.
"My Day" in Outlook (web) will add "tasks due today" into your calendar, but that's pretty limited.
