Searching for TO DO tasks in Outlook
I feel like I must be missing someting and have searched through posts but can't find the answer. I have been using Microsoft To Do (and love it). But now that it is available via Outlook, I can't ...
PANadmin , the search bar at the top of the "To Do" tab just jumps back to the "Mail" tab search tool. I don't know if this is new functionality, but if you change the search to "All Outlook Items", one of the results is the "Tasks" category, which is what we want. You have to wade through all the other search results (Inbox, Calendar, etc.), but it's better than nothing.
I'm happy to report that Microsoft finally released an update to search directly in the Tasks tab! I'm not sure when this happened, but I'm running classic Outlook for Microsoft 365 MSO (Version 2405 Build 16.0.17628.20006) 64-bit.
Yes, preview users received the functionality April timeframe. The general availability rollout was in the May/June timeframe.
