Microsoft Todo

Microsoft came so close to a win with the rollout of "Todo."  For those of us who used Wunderlist for years, I just can't get my brain around the "my day" and the "planned" functions.  Microsoft; why can't I just have a "Today" list???  With the ability to add new tasks from a Today list?
