Feature Request: set colors for tasks within lists
A feature I keep expecting to see but never shows up! Allow the ability to change the background color of a task within a list for quick access/reference.
Ie. For my grocery list: what if the list contains items for different stores. I don't want to put "store A" and then have a sublist that I have to drill down in to. I want to see it all in the main list so "store A" items are pink. "Store B", blue, etc that way if I see an item from the B list while in store A I can mark it off! Or, all my dairy items I mark blue, all meat red, etc. So if I am in those sections of the store I can see quickly what I need from there without scrolling the whole list.
Same with my hardware store list... Ok electrical section blue, plumbing red, etc.
Basically, allow changing the background color of individual tasks within a list.

- cinemachineCopper ContributorI second this and can't believe it doesn't already exist. To me this is an obvious omission.

cinemachine Right?!? But then again, the request has 83 views and you're the first "like" after I posted it 2 months ago. So is it such an obvious omission? To us it is.... but no one else seems to think it's useful - which blows my mind!
- cinemachineCopper ContributorI'm amazed as well. If you look in the Feature Request forum (a different forum from this accessed from within the app's Help menu), there are numerous requests. In fact, there's one that has received more than 1700 up votes but is now strangely listed as being "Already Supported." Really? If it's already supported then how the hell do you do it?? I can't figure it out if this is true. Here's a link: https://feedbackportal.microsoft.com/feedback/search/746f5230-3b1c-ec11-b6e7-0022481f8472?q=color+code
