Due dates showing incorrectly

Hello,

I'm experiencing an issue that just started yesterday. When I assign due dates for tasks, the date always shows up as the day prior. For example, If I set the due date as April 19th, the due date shows as April 18th. I have included some photos to show what I'm talking about. This happens regardless of using tasks in my browser or in Outlook. Would appreciate any help in fixing this issue.

Thank you,

Theodore

Setting due date as tomorrowDue date shows as being tomorrowdue date changed to today's date

  • Same. I'm assuming you've all also noticed that this only happens in the new Grid view? The older List view still works fine. I'd love to use the Grid view more because it's faster to change those Due Dates, but they're all off by one day!

I am having the same problem all of a sudden. Found this, but did not solve anything.

I've been having the same issue where the due date is 1 day earlier than what I selected.
I'm looking forward to a fix soon.

Same issue here. Thanks for the posts--I couldn't find information anywhere else.

Just started seeing this as well.  List View isn't ideal though - has anyone actually gotten a response from MS yet?

Thanks for calling this out. List view wasn't useful, so I'd stuck to Grid view and did not think to toggle it when testing. It'll work for now at least.

I'm experiencing this issue as well. I tried scheduling tasks in the To Do desktop app, Outlook (new) client, and the M365 web version -- all give the same results.

The individual tasks display the correct due date when selected in "detail view" mode or in the right sidebar To Do shortcut display of Outlook, but when tasks are viewed collectively in the main display (app, web or Outlook), the due dates are one day earlier.

An update: Still experiencing the issue when viewing through the browser and desktop app. When I look at the due dates through the app on my iphone, the dates show up correctly.
