Download or sync files automatically

Is there a way to set To-Do to automatically download files?

I have To-Do for Android on my Pixel 3, and often will start a task, and take a photo through Add File in the app.

Then when on desktop I now have to download each individual file in each task.

Or vice versa if I add a file in desktop I then have to download to view it in the app.

I'd like these files to download automatically.
