Alexa is no longer adding tasks to Microsoft To Do

I frequently have Alexa add tasks to Microsoft To Do. However, this stopped working for me a few days ago. If I ask Alexa to add a task, she responds that she's added it, but it doesn't appear in Microsoft To Do.

All of the instructions (e.g., https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/using-microsoft-to-do-with-alexa-via-cortana-1a29f12c-c08f-48ca-bde0-4932a0c90f2b#:~:text=Say%20%22Alexa%2C%20open%20Cortana%22%20to%20connect%20with%20Cortana,Microsoft%20To%20Do%20on%20%22TechCommunity%22%20.%20See%20More) say to set up Cortana on your PC and add the Cortana skill within Alexa, but Cortana has been deprecated so you can't get to her settings, and I no longer see Cortana listed as an Alexa skill. (And for what it's worth, I haven't messed with any of the To Do/Alexa settings in years.)

Sorry this is incredibly late, but I had the same issue and only discovered this morning that Amazon stopped supporting IFTTT on October 31, 2023, which lines up perfectly with when the issues started for you. I had my Alexa and Microsoft To-Do linked via IFTTT and it suddenly stopped working around that time. I figured it was something on my end and forgot about it. Now that I know Amazon purposely cut functionality, I'm pretty miffed.

Yup, amazon broke that niceness awhile back. we are back to using just amazon's list for now. we have a ton of smart devices controlled by alexa that work fine. once amazon drops them, we will actively move from that ecosystem to other platforms. Just a shame.

I'm feeling similarly. I've heard a little about Google removing some functionalities as well, so I'm not really sure where to go if neither of those are decent options.

No replies to this? Isn't anyone using Microsoft To Do with Alexa? Hasn't anyone noticed that the instructions (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/using-microsoft-to-do-with-alexa-via-cortana-1a29f12c-c08f-48ca-bde0-4932a0c90f2b#:~:text=Say%20%22Alexa%2C%20open%20Cortana%22%20to%20connect%20with%20Cortana,Microsoft%20To%20Do%20on%20%22TechCommunity%22%20.%20See%20More) which say to up Cortana to connect Alexa and Microsoft To Do no longer work? Thanks!

      https://developer.amazon.com/en-US/docs/alexa/list-skills/list-skills-overview.html#:~:text=Warning%3A%20Starting%20July%201%2C%202024,to%20Build%20a%20Custom%20Skill.

This seems to imply the skills connected to amazon's Lists will cease 7/1. Mine seemed to stop working already, so we basically are just going to use alexa list and cease using todo. We were only really using it for lists, anyway. I am just not interested in wrestling with this part of the tech anymore..
