Adding a new task bug on Android app

I am not sure if I am doing something wrong but I am not able to add Tasks to MS To Do on my Android phone app.

1. I select the + icon and am presented with the box to enter the task (along with the Due Date, Remind Me, etc). 

2. I then touch in the box and my keyboard comes up.

3. When I start typing the task an up arrow on the right turns blue (assuming I need to use this to add the task)

4.If I press the return key on the keyboard the keyboard closes but task input is still there

5. Touching the blue up arrow does nothing
