Failure to sign in
First of all, I have TEAMS on my old computer. However, I bought a new computer, and I am unable to gain access to the TEAMS file on my new computer.
I gain access to TEAMS, it asks me to sign in again. But the sign-up page does not open. It ends there. I have read the instructions and have spent over an hour trying everything without success. It shouldn't be so difficult.

Teams draws its sign in window using WebView2, and on a fresh PC it is often missing or outdated, so the window never appears. Open teams.microsoft.com in a browser first: if that signs in fine, install the WebView2 Evergreen Standalone Installer from Microsoft, restart, and try again. If not, check your clock is set automatically (wrong time breaks login tokens), clear "Teams" entries in Credential Manager, then reset the app under Settings > Apps > Microsoft Teams > Advanced options. Also, there is no Teams file to copy across, everything lives in your account and reappears once you sign in.
