Cannot delete organisation from Teams

It's now 3 years late and Microsoft still has not resolved this problem. Despite following all the recommendations the problem persists, even when I installed TEAMS onto a new computer. The organizations are not listed in my TEAMS online or on my computer App, yet the orange triangle exclamation mark remains on my computer App. If you click on the orphan organization this message appears "Oops! We have run into issues while switching to the selected account or org."
