Seeking confirmation that SCORCH 2012 R2 is compatible/runs fine under Windows 2016 Server OS.

Unfortunately none of the System Center 2012 R2 products are supported on Windows Server 2016, that includes Orchestrator as well.

Are you going to move the Orchestrator database, or just simply the Runbook servers or Management server?

The migration process is pretty straight forward, what you should be concerned about is the Orchestrator database, as that's where ALL your data is located.

Make sure you have working backups of the Orchestrator database prior to the migration, I would also recommend to export your runbooks, this works as backups as well.

I suggest you read through and follow the documentation, the steps are the same in Orchestrator 2012 R2.
