What Surface Duo stand do you use while developing?

Hi team,

this questions seems odd but to be honest, none of my phone stands, grips, what-ever-thingies are suitable with the Duo's size or USB-C connector position.

I tried the book posture - it works great as a "build in" solution but the angle isn't the best.

What's your favorite stand?

Thanks and happy hacking!

  • Hi Tobias,

I'm using a very (very!) old metal phone stand that I found around, and it does the job. I don't know the brand nor model... but searching quickly in amazon (.de) I see that this one is very similar.

As an example, this is my Surface Duo 2 using the stand, with the cable connected to the computer:

It works well for both Surface Duo 1 and 2.

    Hope that this helps!

    Thanks,
    Cesar

      Thanks CesarValiente !

I see, the stand is wider and higher, that could solve everything besides the "drop the phone to the left while swiping horizontally". But maybe I apply some rubber or other sticky material.

Thanks for the tip - it will be ordered.

        Sure! np!
In fact, I see that the shared stand (link) has also adjustable viewing angle that it could be useful as well, somehow.
