Surfacebook 2 touch keyboard goes in front of text box

When using the Surfacebook 2 touch keyboard, the keyboard would float on top of the screen and would hide the text box in which the writing is happening, so you actually won't see what you type.

This would happen in multiple apps

 

How can I set the keyboard to behave properly?
