Surface Support
I wanted to share my experiences with Surface support.
I have both a Book and Pro4.
Some questions from tech support:
- what at operating system are you running, last I checked only windows 10 works on these devices
- 2 hours with escalated support on how to setup multiple monitors with/without surface dock
- agents seem untrained
The contractors Microsoft uses are poorly trained and do not seem to have decent troubleshooting knowledge.
As I tweeted to Panos Panay, $2600 laptop with support you would expect from $169 chromebook.
please Microsoft find a contractor that trains staff well, in my case, I will not engage with 1st level, what you describe as supervisors seem better trained that front level staff.
in my opinion, your outsourcer is providing very little value!!
