Project with Detached Screen?
- Dec 01, 2018
Hey Eric,
unfortunately, this is not possible. The screen unit of the SB is the complete computer, the base unit only contains the keyboard, extra battery, USB and Display Port and depending on the model a decent GPU. There is no wireless function in the base that would allow the base and the screen unit to communicate.
What you can do is presenting via https://www.wi-fi.org/discover-wi-fi/miracast with the https://www.microsoft.com/accessories/en-us/products/adapters/wireless-display-adapter-2/p3q-00001 or a https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_2?__mk_de_DE=%C3%85M%C3%85%C5%BD%C3%95%C3%91&url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=miracast+dongle (and more reasonably priced) device. That way your SB connects wirelessly to a projector or screen and you can walk freely around the room.
