Microsoft Surface Vertical Mouse? When??

I currently own and use exclusively the Microsoft Surface Precision Mouse as well as the Microsoft Surface Ergonomic Keyboard, and I love them both. Experience with this keyboard would be enhanced if I were able to pair it with a Microsoft Surface Ergonomic Vertical Mouse but Microsoft has yet to produce one, so I ask when or are there plans to create and release one to users?
