SUPARNA KANSAKAR we followed the same route as you, enabled Teams for Students but disabled Stream. It was the wrong decision. Teams and Stream are closely linked.
We have since restricted Students from Uploading Video content, set a few more overall restrictions within Admin Mode, and tidied up (deleted) all the rubbish videos that had been shared to 'Company".
We were unable to configure the Stream Portal to be "Off".
With a nice clean Stream Portal Page - we have enabled Stream for students. They see pretty much only he Videos shared by their Teachers from their Class Teams.
