We are running Viva Goal pilot in large organization and helping now the Organizational Owner.
Organizational Owner wants to add him/herself to the selected Team. The button “+Add Members” does not works. (Admin Dashboard->Teams-> "..." -> Manage Members -> "+ Add members"). Do you know any tip or explanation? Thank you. Roman

I would like to recommend a different approach. You could get someone else to assign the Organization owner as a member of this team. This way, this user can retain the role of an organization owner and still be part of the team.
The reason you faced this issue is because we currently do not allow a user to search for and add themselves to a team. We have taken note of the issue you faced and will work on evaluating if we should make some changes to this rule to avoid such issues in the future. Please let me know if you have any questions.

There is no error message.
After additional testing and reading we now understand that organizational owner cannot be assigned to the team via button "+Team Members".
Specifically: when a user is assigned the role of an organization owner then is listed in the individual users' section. Organization owner can be added to the team via "change the role" that is described at https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/viva/goals/managing-team-members#change-the-role-of-a-member-in-the-organization.
Hope this is the right approach how to assign org. owner to the specific team.

- Thank you very much. Just an update, we managed customer expectation about this issue we are now in the final pilot phase.
